Walt "Wali" Neil is a master artist, and his commitment to painting and community continues to inspire three generations of artists around the nation to create art that represents and speaks to the Black community. Neil’s lifetime of creative work amplifies the need to cherish public murals, figurative African American art, and African diaspora music and dance. A prolific painter and illustrator, Neil has created murals and artwork in Columbus, Cleveland, Euclid, Atlanta, Seattle, Sacramento, Los Angeles, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Jamaica, and Senegal.
