Sharon Cannon’s path to painting began after a long career in finance and design, where she served as Vice President of Unique Projects in Los Angeles, overseeing large-scale custom design installations. A late but powerful return to creativity through art therapy led her to embrace painting as a full-time pursuit. Working from her Los Angeles studio, Cannon paints with palette knives, rags, and her hands—building, scraping, and reinventing her canvases layer by layer.
